From all 32" LCD HDTV models, Sony KDL-32XBR6 is one of the best performers. It has excellent black levels, competing with some of the best plasma TVs and overall the picture quality is superb. It does have some color accuracy and screen uniformity issues but they are not a big deal.

Another excellent LCD TV from the 32" class. It has highly accurate colors and very good black levels, though not as deep as Sony KDL-32XBR6. Overall the picture quality is superb and it also has the abbility to display useful information as news, stocks, local weather, etc. The screen viewing angle is good for an LCD TV and the uniformity is also good for it’s class. One of the downsides, is that the shiny screen reflects light quite a lot.

This 32" LCD HDTV is a great choice if you are looking for high quality at an affordable price. It lacks 120Hz video processing and many fancy features, however considering the price, LN32A550 is a great performer. Regarding overall pictue quality, it comes very close to more expensive high-end models.

Though its black levels are nothing to write home about, not as deep as those found in competing LCD and plasma TV models, this 32 inch LCD HDTV has a lot of advantages. The number of picture modes and picture settings is impressive, allowing you to properly calibrate the LG 32LG60. It also has a very god anti-glare screen so you will not get distracting reflections. Aside from the black levels, two other areas where it doesn’t perform very well are the viewing angle and screen uniformity, which though not bad, are inferior to other LCD TVs in this class.

While it is not a good choice if you plan to use it as a computer monitor, TC-32LX85 is a very good LCD TV for watching movies and TV broadcasts. Its black levels are very deep and it has accurate colors. The biggest downside is that it doesn’t accept 1080p sources.
