Though Panasonic TH-42PX80U has a native resolution of 1024×768 (720p), which is less than what other models have, for most people it will not represent a limitation. The upside of having this smaller resolution comes in the form of a smaller price. If for your viewing distance 720p is enough, you will get a great deal with this TV. It has very good black levels and very good overall picture quality.
