  • Exceptional color accuracy

Samsung UN46B7000 1080p LCD TV

Samsung UN46B7000
(9.0)

It has dejudder processing as well as the backlighting technology available in the rest of the edge LED models. The UN46B7000’s black levels are very dark, however not having the exact same technology as the models in B8500 series, it falls short of the top of the line HDTVs. As with most Samsung models, the color accuracy is very good. On the downside, it suffers from two common problems with LCDs: slightly blueish blacks and poor off-angle performance.

  • Yahoo widgets and network streaming
  • Dejudder processing works well
  • Thin 1.2-inch panel
  • Very good black levels
  • Very accurate colors

Cons

  • Off-angle viewing very poor
  • Dark areas lean toward blue
  • Backlight fluctuates based on program brightness at times
  • Shiny screen can cause issues in bright rooms
