Samsung LN32B650, although it does not sport a large screen, is still able of offering a great watching experience. This 32 inch LCD TV is gifted by the manufacturer with competitive dejudder processing and color decoding, which makes it a very good deal for someone that desires a mid range HDTV with all the perks in place.

Moderate in size, but more than average in performance, LG 47LH90 is guaranteed to make a good impression, especially because of superior picture quality. Some minor flaws bring the model down a few notches, but if you can live with a little blooming effect, or the fact that the dejudder processing must be engaged in the same time with the anti-blur features, then LG 47LH90 is one of the best LCD TVs that you can buy. It must also be mentioned that LG 47LH90 has great connectivity, and a matte screen that fights off reflections without any hassle.

Samsung surely knew what they were doing when launching on the market the medium range B650 series of LCD TVs. Samsung LN55B650 is one of the greatest representatives of this series (and the one with the biggest screen size), and it sports all its good and bad points. On the good side, Samsung LN55B650 is capable of rendering excellent image quality, it offers access to good web streaming content, and its connectivity options are nothing but solid for a product in this range. Its only minuses consist of the price tag that comes attached to it, the blue tinge marring the darker scene, and the fact that the 120Hz refresh rate doesn’t seem to do much, except maybe adding a little more to the spec list, and the cost, as well.

Among the 240Hz generation of LCD TVs, Samsung LN52B750 shines like a diamond in the rough, as its amount of new features, and solid connectivity options are recommendations in themselves. The B750 series from Samsung was clearly designed to take the LCD technology one step ahead, as well as one step closer to the plasma counterparts sold on the market. Samsung may not be there just yet, but it is clearly on the right path with this particular model, that offers a lot for consumers, even if the price may need to back down a little, in order to become affordable for the large audience. Some drawbacks still mar an almost perfect experience, especially since image quality is concerned, as it will be explained later in this Samsung LN52B750 review.

This 42 inch LCD TV has a lot to offer, as the LH90 series from LG is ambitiously aiming to match image performance consumers usually see on plasma televisions. LG 42LH90 sports a lot of connectivity options, amazing black levels for an LCD TV, great looking colors, and new technologies, such as 240Hz refresh rate, local dimming and LED-backlighting. Although it does have some minor issues, like the effect of blooming when white objects are projected on a black background, overall, LG 42LH90 is a very good LCD TV, gifted with everything that is needed for a great watching experience.

Being a newer type of LCD TV, it has 120Hz refresh rate, and, although it is not on par with 240Hz models, the difference given by this particular trait are not that visible to justify a bigger spending.

While it is only but the smallest representative of the series, Samsung LN40B750 can prove to be a very good choice for someone desiring an LCD TV with great perks, but with a smaller screen, in order to reduce expenses, or simply because a smaller quantity of screen inches is on the wish list. It has 240Hz, a wide array of web streaming options, a very reduced response time, and a superior dynamic contrast ratio. You may not feel that comfortable with it, if you are going to watch TV in a room that is brightly lit, as some reflections are prone to appear, but the bottom line is that Samsung LN40B750 is a great option, if you can afford it.

No such combination of good and bad may have been encountered, as it can be seen in the LCD TV model that carries the name LG 55LH90. The LG representative seems to have it all: a large screen (55 inches), great black levels, great color accuracy, almost perfect connectivity, anti-reflective capabilities. Yet, there are some flaws that make the rain come down on this 55 inch LED-backlit LCD TV’s parade. It has no S video input, there are some image flaws present, like blooming, and washed out colors when watched from off angle, and the dejudder processing is not as good as seen on the latest Samsung models. All in all, LG 55LH90 does deliver great picture quality, and, if you can live with its flaws, then it is a good option for you.

Samsung UN46B8500 and UN46B8000 have a 240Hz video processing refresh rate, unlike the remainder of the company’s edge-lit line, which retains a 120Hz rate. The fact is, that most users won’t see any noticeable difference in the processing rate when compared side by side. The company’s edge-lit LED LCD TVs, the B6000, B7000, and B8000 series differ from the B8500 series because the latter is equipped with localized dimming and manages to produce deeper blacks. Even so, the B8000 series, including UN46B8000, is quite capable of competing with the best HDTVs out there.

Samsung has forged into the LED LCD market with more confidence in 2009, introducing its line of edge-lit LED LCD TVs, the B6000, B7000, and B8000 series. The company also recently released its first LED LCD TV line with localized dimming, the B8500 series. The UN55B8000 is part of the LED edge backlit series, and though unlike UN55B8500 with its localized dimming, it does not produce the deepest black levels, it is still one of the LCD TVs with very deep blacks. Aside from that it benefits from the same color accuracy as most Samsung HDTV models, being a solid choice for those looking for a high end LED LCD with good performance.

Samsung UN55B85000 has grabbed the crown of best 55 inch LCD TV on the market, even though its off-angle viewing could be better. Only Pioneer Kuro plasma outperforms the UN55B8500 in picture quality. Samsung’s B6000, B7000, and B8000 models can’t quite touch the quality of the UN55B8500 because its LED backlighting is based on localized dimming LEDs arranged throughout the screen. It also has an abundance of interactive features as well, including Yahoo widgets and built-in content.

While Pioneer’s Kuro is still the best HDTV out there, if you can find it, the new Samsung UN46B8500 is easily the best 46 inch LCD out there, despite its poor off-angle viewing. Samsung’s ultra-thin LED-based LCDs have been released throughout the year and have garnered a lot of attention. The company’s 6000, 7000, and 8000 models, are all solid sets, but the most recently release, the UN46B8500, has snagged the top spot for best LCD TV on the market for the moment. This model differs from the other LED sets in that its LED backlighting is not arranged along the edge of the screens. It is instead equipped with local dimming LEDs arranged throughout the screen, which doesn’t affect its slim build. And with plenty of interactive features plugged into the UN46B8500 as well, this LCD has plenty to love.

LG 52LG60 may be a view for sore eyes, with its special sleek design, but you should not let yourself impressed by the looks. Like it is said, "it's what's inside that counts", and the true value of this statement can be tested for this LCD model. While certain qualities do apply for LG 52LG60, its disadvantages are difficult to overlook. The TV set shows a good overall picture, quite accurate colors, and its 120Hz processing is an advantage for those who like Blu Ray movies at 24 FPS (1080p/24). Its anti-glare capabilities are not to be neglected, and a large range of picture modes for the user to choose from recommend it. Now, looking on the not so bright side, its black levels could use improvement, as other LCD models already have, and the uniformity and viewing angle are far from being the best.

Samsung LN52A550 is one of the best deals for LCD TV to go around right now. Its quality comes at a reasonable price and that is just one of the reasons why many customers are so satisfied with the product. Generally, it scores 5 out of 5 stars on consumer reviews and that says a lot about what Samsung LN52A550 is able to offer. Among its main qualities, we can talk about great picture quality, deep black levels, great colors, reliable connectivity, and a reasonably good viewing angle. Samsung LN52A550 is part of the A550 series from Samsung, and, while it presents a fair anti-glaring coating, it does not have the same performance as the newer models from A650 and A750 series. Also, this model has not implemented the 120Hz refresh rate, which makes it slightly weaker than its younger brothers. Another disadvantage that can be counted here is that it does present some uniformity issues. But, all in all, this is a very good buy for the price, and its picture quality recommends it.
