Panasonic G10 series of plasma TVs was launched in 2009 and is based on the new NeoPDP panel. Models in this series are similar to those in the step-up Panasonic V10 series, but have slightly less features and problematic 1080p/24 playback. G10 models are however slightly cheaper than similar size V10 models. The two series are more complementary than competing, as models in G10 come in 42, 46, 50, 54 inch sizes, while V10 series is available in sizes from 50 inch up. In very few words, G10 models are some of the best HDTVs on the market, being able to offer extremely deep black levels and accurate colors in THX mode. Below you have a list with our Panasonic G10 reviews.
It seems that Panasonic has thought the G10 series with the purpose of satisfying the crave for the most popular size categories. Panasonic TC-P46G10 is a 46 inch plasma TV considered to be the best for this diagonal size, and, the fact that it carries all the good points of the series is the basis for this statement. Among the good points of this Panasonic plasma TV, one will find great black level quality, THX certification meaning great colors right from the box, and amazing HD performance. It may not still be on par with the V10 models, the newer model from Panasonic, but it is still better than the S1 models and most HDTVs on the market.
Panasonic TC-P50G10 series clearly shows that the company is serious about producing high end good quality plasma, with the same dedication showed for low entry products. While it may not exactly be a model for the budget conscious consumer, Panasonic TC-P50G10 is a plasma TV that has caught the eyes of many, even if it does not stand on the same level with the V10 series from the same manufacturer. It is clearly a 50 inch plasma TV gifted with exceptional black levels, beautiful colors, and a bunch of features guaranteed to steal your heart. If compared with the mid range series, S1, the model is a step up in Panasonic plasma evolution. Copyright © 2008-2010 Best HDTV Screen. All Rights reserved.
