Samsung PN B650 (PNB650) series of plasma TVs was launched in 2009. It is a high-end series, however lacks some of the buzz of the more expensive B850 and B860 series. When it comes to performance however, it surpasses them. The PN B650 models offer a very good value for money, their price being quite good for what they have to offer. While these Samsung plasma TVs do come with nice features, the higher end models from series 8 also have a functional 1080p/24 mode and a more appealing design. If however you are more interested in the picture quality than in features, the Samsung PNB650 plasma TV models are definitely worth a look.
The general opinion about Samsung PN58B650 is that it comes appointed with about everything you look for in a plasma TV, if you intend to stick to image quality and you are not all that crazy about having a HDTV with the latest looks. This Panasonic plasma TV is gifted with the Touch of Color design, but, otherwise, its appearance is not on par with that granted by the company for the more expensive B850 & B860 series. Samsung PN58B650 performs well in many areas, such as black levels, color accuracy, video processing, and it does come appointed with extras such as Internet@TV and Wide Color Enhancer 3.
Samsung PN50B650 is part of the mid to high-end series that has many good points. The best part of this 50 inch plasma TV is that it already comes equipped with all the features of the previous series, and something more. It may not share the same sleek design as the more advanced series, PN B850 and PN B860, but if you’re in for performance, rather than looks, there is hardly any reason for you to spend more on the newer models, than on this Samsung PN50B650 plasma TV. It is worth mentioning that its price is considerably less expensive considering the picture quality. Copyright © 2008-2012 Best HDTV Screen. All Rights reserved.
